it’s interesting how you say that “It almost doesn’t matter the line of work, but I like being around these kinds of people.” i can totally see wanting to work with sharp, quick, enjoyable people, but for me, there’s a line in the sand i’ll have to draw in terms of where i work. because if these people are at boeing? or wal-mart? sorry, but i can’t.

it makes this move to DC interesting, in that i’m trying to think through where that line is. i used to think it stopped at ‘for-profit’, but i’m not so steady on that anymore. and obviously, DC is a great place to get a well-paid government gig – but with bush in office, would i be ok with that? working for a department run by a bush-appointed cabinet member?

i dunno, i guess in short, just wanted to say that i’m thinking about this kind of prioritizing of career ambitions too!
