Another SAD Day

It’s that day: Stupid Cupid Day. Single Awareness Day. V-day… And it’s hard to be optimistic this year as I’m just completely up in the air as to what to think. Can you believe it: Laura and Ryan, and even Sarah and Justin(!), may be in the same boat as me? I guess the post-undergraduate world is a time of change and growing and living and learning…much of that while being single. Sometimes it’s just a tiny bit too depressing.

Well before I go any further, here are two articles that I’ve written in years when I had a clear opinion of SAD:

No, no fondue and legos this year. Going to wash/wax the car for my “date” with Antonio tomorrow (we’re going to put in a short shifter, an MAF and an ECU–sorry if that’s Greek to you). Then I’ll head to Gerti’s SAD party for some collective bitching and moaning.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. Still, I do hope you have a lovely Valentine’s Day and hold your lovers close, because that’s still the best way to share today.
