Reading Atlas Shrugged and attending a lot of these networking functions has drawn my attention to something: I greatly respect and appreciate individual accomplishment. This morning (Friday) I watched a guy speak who really had his head on straight. He was an insurance broker, but he didn’t talk about insurance. He had been asked to give a speech about the lessons he’s learned that brought his company to where it is now. And I liked what he had to offer. (more…)
