This morning (Friday) I watched a guy speak who really had his head on straight. He was an insurance broker, but he didn’t talk about insurance. He had been asked to give a speech about the lessons he’s learned that brought his company to where it is now. And I liked what he had to offer. (more…)

When I read Ayn Rand, I sometimes think that she takes things to an extreme and that our world isn’t so cut off from truth and principle. People are reasonable, fair, and just; don’t you agree? I think so, because I know a lot of great people. But this time I think that Rand’s right. (more…)
