The other day I was thinking how it would be so much easier if beauty were consistent with intelligence. Imagine a world where the good looking girls were also the smart ones. I don’t mean to stereotype, but there are some damn attractive girls at UMD that are sadly lacking in other areas. But why waste time getting to know a pretty girl in hope of intelligence, or why let yourself pretend that her wheels are turning just because she looks nice in black pants? (more…)

As I said earlier, I feel that some people are really worthy of praise. While there are imperfections to everyone, sometimes there are people I’m just so happy to talk about… and Bob is one of those people. He’s the kind of person who turns everything to gold in his path, people included. By that I mean that although he’s extremely talented and kind, he is always willing to notice and point out others’ strengths. (more…)
