I want to thank some people and I want to talk a little about myself. I’ve met some great some great people this semester. Kristy and Rachel, you girls are awesome. I’ve never been so entertained in a class before :). Lindsay, Monique, and Amy… wow, so beautiful and fun. Meeting you all in such an intimate setting (yeah improv!) was amazing and I hope that we’ll all stay close next semester. Ben and Katie, you guys are so cute and it’s great to have you in Denton. Jack, you’re the man. Natalie, thanks for always helping me out when I needed ya. Ricki and Tama, you may be far away but your wisdom and conversation make life livable. And of course, Marina, Justin, and Amanda, thanks for always being there — tried and true. (more…)
Is our natural state that of happiness or depression? Do we try to overcome depression or maintain happiness? Do significant others, diversions, and kindness remind how great life is, or merely distract from the pains of living? Is this simply another half empty/half full discussion? (more…)
